The Committee on Family Matters, Youth Policy, Sports and Tourism recommends that the Parliament should adopt as a basis and in entirety the bill to amend the Law "On Physical Training and Sports" (re motivation and social protection of sportsmen and coaches)

The bill (Reg.No.10736) suggests excluding article 43 from section four of the Law "On Physical Training and Sports".

The document also suggests excluding the provision form article 48 of the Law "On Physical Training and Sports" according to which, rules of registration, accounting, exploitation and monitoring over the use and technical conditions of sports cars, sports motorbikes and sport aircraft is determined by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. These rules are also governed by the respective legislative acts.

The Committee members believe that the adoption of the bill will simplify the procedure of encouraging leading sportsmen and coaches by both local executive authorities and bodies of local self government.
